This is a non-egress 3-bar window guard made of carbon steel. This is designed to aid and assist in preventing children from accidentally falling through open windows. Can adjust from 22 in. to 38 in. widths.
- Typically used on vertical windows, not to be used with horizontal sliding or hinged casement windows
- Not for use in bedrooms that do not have other exits
- Inside or outside mounts with 1 way screws
- Note: not for use in bedrooms or sleeping quarters where no other emergency exit window is accessible
- Meets New York, New Jersey and Oregon home builders association health and safety codes
- Features 3-7/8 in. bar spacing to prevent small children from an accidental fall through open windows
- Tamper resistant screws included to keep window grill firmly attached
